These corporate executives were
commissioned to illustrate the company history in the newly created
board room of a large and growing corporation. The company had
images of their past Chief Executive Officers but the officers
had been photographed over many years and were taken in
different styles, black and white and color. The images were
dissimilar enough to be unusable for a formal corporate board
room.
I was contacted and asked what could be
done. We discussed modifying the existing backgrounds to a
similar style but still having each one unique. Clothing could
be altered on some to present a more formal style. All
portraits would of course be in color and a uniform size. I
visited the space that was being created and talked with the
designers about lighting the portraits and the addition of
future portraits in coming years. I worked on all the portraits
simultaneously to assure that each was different yet the style
and tone was consistent with the design and plans for the
finished room. The results were well received and I have been
contacted about painting the new CEO who will be instated next
year. |
