We can honor the heritage of those whose lives we admire with
the legacy of a portrait painting. Very often fading photographs
that document our private or public origins can be transformed into
classic oil portraits. These Master oils may be safely displayed for
many generations with confidence that they are made to last.

THE PATRIOT
I created this portrait of a general to commemorate his life and
career. The low viewing angle lends a sense of power and
prestige to the portrait. Black colors are difficult to work
with but through an oil painting, his dress uniform shows all
the detail sometimes lost in a photograph. The brass and medals
gleam with thick paint. The flag speaks volumes, and the chair
artfully changes to from wood to executive leather. |

KITTY LOVE
Pets win our hearts with their loyalty and trust and we want
them to be with us always. That is the reason why so many of us
preserve those memories forever with the treasure of a portrait
in oil. |
